 On the first floor of the museum house visitors become acquainted with the history of Semi? with its neighbouring villages and the life of their inhabitants from prehistoric times to the end of the Second World War. The display on the ground floor, entitled The Nature of Bela Krajina, shows the rich flora and fauna of Bela Krajina and its protected nature areas. In the basement of the house a vinicultural collection is displayed in its original setting, separated from the adjacent wine tasting area by a virtually invisible glass wall. The interior of an early Bela Krajina zidanica (vineyard cottage) is recreated, from a time when everything in it was made solely of wood, with none of the plastic or steel objects or other devices of modern times.
